As apart of a joint initiative with Monash City Council to help us keep fit and active. Monash in Monash is set to be an exciting week of events, including FREE Zumba and Tai Chi sessions at the Northern Plaza. This is a great way to get in some quick physical activity and help relieve some stress mid-semester brings with the pile up of assignments and deadlines.
On September 21 Zumba will be held from 12 - 12.40pm. Zumba is a great workout with a difference, it combines elements of cardio with dance to give a calorie burning workout that doesn't feel like a drag to do.
On September 22 Tai Chi sessions will be held from 12 - 12.40pm. Tai Chi is a form of internal Chinese martial art that has many physical and mental health benefits, including meditation, which is great for calming the mind during a stressful semester.
We encourage everyone to come on down to the Northern Plaza at Clayton and give it a try!
